Bike Maintenance

Would you like to learn how to fix or build your own bike? 
We run bike maintenance sessions and a tool club at the Bike Hive in Alexandra Park.  A qualified mechanic plus tools will be provided.  Bike parts to be purchased separately.  We are also run sessions in other venues across Manchester and can come to you.  If you are keen to host a group session or looking for one to one help please get in touch.

Come along to our monthly drop-in sessions to sort out niggles with your bike in Alexandra Park.
Qualified and experienced women mechanics will help you sort out your bike. No booking needed - just bring yourself and your bike.  Our mechanics volunteer their time, so donations very welcome.

​You can find us on the veranda of the Coffee Cranks Cafe cafe in the Pavilion (by the lake).

Monday Tool Club

Regular Monday Sessions in the Park 
We are currently running free bike maintenance sessions in the park every Monday.  One in the morning (9.30-11.30am ) and one in the afternoon (12-2pm).

What?  Bike checks and minor repairs by experienced mechanics.  Get help to fix or maintain your bike,  donate a bike, make friends and have fun.
Where? Alexandra Park, Moss Side.  Meet in the carpark behind tennis courts, off Russell Street.    
When?  Morning session 9.30-11.30am   Afternoon session 12-2pm
Who?  Open to all.  Women Only groups available.   We can run tailored sessions for specific groups.
Contact us to enquire further.  No booking needed,  you can just turn up at start of either session.

Alternative Sessions
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) offer regular basic and intermediate bike maintenance training across Greater Manchester.  Dates and booking for their group sessions can be found via TfGM website or Eventbrite.
